Vicancy selected for CreatiFI acceleration programme

SummaryVicancy - video job ad solutions - has been granted 10K (EUR) in funding as one of 60 teams to be accepted for the CreatiFI acceleration programme. As soon as their solution makes it past prototype stage, they will be supported with a grant of 40K in 2015.
In October 2014 Vicancy answered to an open call from CreatiFI, a European acceleration programme aimed at developing prototypes using FIWARE technologies. Early december Vicancy received word that they were among the 120 best evaluated teams and were asked to present their solution at the CreatiFI hub in Brussels. The pitch went well and the board selected Vicancy as one of the 60 teams to enter the programme.
Co-founder Loet Rammelsberg: “Our animation software gives companies the benefits of online video, without the usual long delivery time and high production costs. We turn text-based jobs into customized video ads within 24 hours, including a targeted LinkedIn campaign. So far we have run over 350 video recruitment campaigns, with clients ranging from innovative SME's to multinationals such as Ahold, SCA and HP. In order to adjust to the growth projections, we must invest in our product development. This means improving not only the quality of the videos, but also our operational excellence. This is why we applied for the CreatiFI programme.”
“The additional funding will allow us to accelerate our product development and meet the growing demand.” Loet continues. “Thanks to automated cloud rendering, we will soon be able to reduce the time it takes to produce our videos from 24 hours to just 30 seconds. This near-realtime delivery means our clients will be able to receive their video job ad on the same day they ordered it and start attracting better candidates to their job posting. In addition, we will build a drag-and-drop interface that will allow our clients to build their own video job ad in a matter of seconds. Both innovations will tremendously improve our customer satisfaction and help Vicancy scale faster, when we continue to grow our business and enter new markets abroad.
